Professor Dr Rusli Bin Nordin is currently Professor and Head of the School of Medicine, Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, Taylor’s University, Subang Jaya, Selangor Darul Ehsan, Malaysia. He was formerly Professor of Public Health Medicine and Head of the Clinical School Johor Bahru, Jeffrey Cheah School of Medicine and Health Sciences, Monash University Malaysia, Malaysia.

Prof Rusli was a Colombo Plan Scholar and graduated in Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) from Monash University, Melbourne, Australia in 1980 and obtained his Masters in Public Health (MPH) from the University of Malaya, a Doctorate in Medical Sciences (DrMedSc) from The University of Tokyo, Japan under the Ronpaku Doctoral Program, and a Graduate Certificate in Higher Education (GCHE) from Monash University. Prof Rusli is an Honorary Fellow of the Faculty of Occupational Medicine Ireland (Hon FFOMI), Fellow of the Academy of Occupational and Environmental Medicine Malaysia (FAOEMM), Fellow of Public Health Medicine Malaysia (FPHMM) and Member of the Academy of Medicine Malaysia (AMM). Currently he serves on the Council of the Academy of Occupational and Environmental Medicine Malaysia (AOEMM). He is an Editorial Board Member of several international journals including Industrial Health, International Journal of Public Health Research, Malaysian Journal of Medical Sciences, and Journal of Medical Safety and is also a reviewer for several international journals. He has supervised many Masters of Public Health and PhD students and is active as an external examiner for masters and doctoral candidates. He has more than 100 publications in both local and international journals and has authored 10 books and chapters and has presented scientific papers in both local and international conferences, seminars and workshops.

Brig Gen Prof Datuk (Dr) Adnan Bin Abdullah is the current Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Defence Health (FMDH), National Defence University of Malaysia (NDUM). Prior to his secondment as a Medical Lecturer (Professor) at the university since May 2019, he served as the Management leader of Principal Medical Expert for Health Service Division of the Malaysian Arm Forces.

Datuk Adnan graduated from the Pakistan Army Medical College in 1990 and obtained his Occupational Medicine Master from the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 1997. He had served as a medical officer in various military medical centres in Malacca and Kuala Lumpur. In addition, he also had experiences serving in missions including the Minurso Mission in West Sahara (UN Mission) as part of the Malaysian Medical Unit. Interestingly, he was also the key person in setting up a Malaysian field hospital for Rohingnya refugees at Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh in a humanitarian mission where he was appointed as the 1st Commander. It was a remarkable accomplishment that it was acknowledged by UNHCR as the best field hospital.

Associate Professor Dr. Ahmad Asmadi bin Yusof

Associate Professor Dr Ahmad Asmadi Bin Yusof is currently the Academic Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Defence Health (FMDH), National Defence University of Malaysia (NDUM). Formerly, he was the Dean of Traditional and Complementary Medicine at Cyberjaya University College of Medical Science (CUCMS). He obtained his Medical Doctor Degree in 1988 and Doctor of Philosophy in Pharmacology, in 2000 from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM).
He has supervised many postgraduate students and has taken up roles as an external examiner for both masters and doctoral candidates. He has authored a great number of publications in the form of journal articles, book chapters as well as proceedings in both local and international publishers. 
In addition to academia, AP Dr Ahmad Asmadi has numerous experiences in the corporate sectors. At present, he is the Chairman of Koperasi Kolej Universiti Sains Perubatan Cyberjaya Bhd. and Board of Director for Relief 4 Life Berhad. He is a consultant for the development of An-Nadaal Medical Center, Nigeria. He was actively involved as a consultant for the establishment of private hospitals namely Andorra Women and Children Hospital by BWFW Medic Sdn Bhd and Pusat Perubatan Islam in Brunei Darussalam by MIG education Sdn Bhd both in year 2015. Other experiences include acting as consultant for GLOBAL Information Hub on Integrated Medicine, MOH, in 2010 and Chairman of 1st Cyberjaya Healthcare Education Conference (CHEC) in 2013 to name a few.

Associate Professor Dr Halyna Lugova

After obtaining an advanced university degree in Medicine, Dr Halyna Lugova was admitted to the postgraduate program at the Ukrainian Military Medical Academy and completed her MSc (Epidemiology), and PhD (Epidemiology) there. In 2016, she obtained a MPH (International Public Health) from the University of Liverpool. In 1997-2011, Dr Halyna served with the Armed Forces of Ukraine as a commissioned military officer. She was involved in postgraduate education of military doctors and research in the field of public health. Additionally, she served with the United Nations in Democratic Republic of the Congo (2004-2005) and in Georgia (2008-2009). Since 2012, she has been employed as an Associate Professor at the National Defence University of Malaysia, Faculty of Medicine and Defence Health. Since, 2017, she has been appointed as a Head of Community Medicine. The area of her research interest has been focused on infectious diseases, international public health and disaster management.

Dr Jo Ann Andoy Galvan

Dr. Jo Ann Andoy Galvan is a senior lecturer at Taylor's University School of Medicine.   She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology, Doctor of Medicine, and Master in Public Health from Saint Louis University and her Diplomate in Occupational Medicine from Philippine College of Occupational Medicine.  She is a member of the Philippine College of Occupational Medicine and the Philippine Medical Association. She is an expert in epidemiology and her research interests include preventive health, health promotion, autism, non-communicable diseases, and economic evaluation.  She had presented in numerous international medical conferences and published in Q1 journals. To keep up with constantly evolving medical knowledge, she continues to learn and grow.  She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Medical Science at Taylor's University.

Currently, she is exploring work among the indigenous community in Sarawak, a leader of the eBug Project in Malaysia and into drug discovery.

Dr Azimah binti Ahmad is senior lecturer at Faculty of Medicine and Defence Health, National Defence University of Malaysia. She obtained her degree in Dietetic from UKM, Master in Sports Science from UiTM and Doctor of Philosophy in Sports Coaching from UPSI. Previously she was a sports dietitian at National Sports Institute. Her research area is mainly about recovery method and choices, promoting healthy eating habit and physical activity.

Dr. Chai Hong Yeong is a medical physicist, a certified radiation protection officer and an Associate Professor at Taylor’s University, Malaysia. She is one of the few medical physicists in Malaysia who has completed the IAEA Clinical Training of Medical Physicists Specialising in Diagnostic Radiology (DRMP). Dr. Yeong is currently chairing the Professional Relations Committee of the Asia-Oceania Federation of Organizations for Medical Physics (AFOMP) 2019-2021, and a Web Sub-committee (Newsletter) of the International Organization for Medical Physics (IOMP). She is also the elected Vice President of the South-East Asia Federation of Organizations for Medical Physics (SEAFOMP) 2019-2021, and the Founding Member of the ASEAN College of Medical Physics (ACOMP). 

AP Dr Karuthan Chinna

Associate Professor Dr Karuthan Chinna has a masters degree in Applied Statistics from the Michigan State University, USA and a PhD in Multivariate Quality Control from the Multimedia University, Malaysia. He has been teaching statistics for the last 36 years and he is also very active in research and consulting. He has authored and co-authored many national and international peer-reviewed journal articles and has presented many papers at national and international conferences. He has published books in Biostatics and SPSS (3 editions). He has provided statistical consultations for several projects at the Ministry of Health and other institutions.
